2013 Kawasaki Z800 Review

Kawasaki unveiled the latest middle-class standard, Z800, 2013 to the public at the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany today. This is the follow-up machinery for the Z750i out solid players in the segment. With all-new look and larger displacement engines, very clear Z recently had a Yamaha FZ8 2013 squarely in sight.

806Cc liquid-cooled, Inline four standard strength and the new bike is based off your Z750i machine at this time. 2.5 Mm – large dull and slightly higher compression ratio (11.9: 1 vs. 11.6: 1) being touted as providing more performance on each Z800-rpm, but most gains power claims seen in low-and middle range. Throttle body diameter has also been increased from 32 mm 34 mm to feed mill larger 58cc. End gearing has been shortened through two rear sprocket teeth are larger to emphasize the acceleration.

Improvements and changes to the chassis including a new pipeline linking backbone tube chassis rigidity for revision offers a better feedback to the rider. 41 mm KYB inverted front forks have been optimized to improve performance and machine frame tweaks.

Adjustment for rebound and preload only. KYB Shock with piggyback rear got scooted 20 mm to the left of the chassis for better balance from left to right. Like the front forks, preload and rebound adjustable.

Aggressive all-new Styling came along with changes to the chassis and the engine. New front design chimney multi-faceted for more aggressive look but still unmistakably of z. on the back, Z-patterned taillight has been integrated into the cowl. Color matched lower chimney belly a hug machine. New fully digital instrument cluster has a vertical bar-style tachometer, fuel gauge, temp range, the hour of information and machinery.

Braking duties has been updated with the new caliber 4-piston opposed, with 310 mm petal discs. ABS is available and built by Nissin.

For now it looks like this new cool Z is for overseas markets just as a standard middle class continue to struggle to get a foothold here in the United States (the Z750i has not included in the U.S. lineup since 2006). The price has not been announced.
