2008 Travertson V-REX Review
The V-REX first exists only in the 3D rendering was composed by noted Futurist mechanically: Tim Cameron, later called the dream bike. Design of ultra-adventurous Cameron caught the eye of Christian Travert, one of the crew in the MTT built jet-copter-motored Y2K mentioned above. Travert instantly became obsessed with Cameron's design, so much so that he decided to turn the concept into reality.
This proved to be easier said than done. Cameron, work in the digital world, not limited by the disturbing details such as engineering principles. So it's an imagined Travert three-dimensional structures that remain true to the art project Cameron while not collapsed from stress 79.2 inches wheelbase stretched. Consider star Raider, one of the longest bike MO has never been tested, the wheelbase is nearly 4 inches shorter.
Travert, a Frenchman who is transplanted to Florida, came up with the unique structure of cast-aluminum frame that doubles as a fuel tank. Steel frame tubes stretching over the engine to make the Steering head and using a V-Rod motor Revolution as a member of the stress. The company claimed dry weight 670-lb.

2008 Travertson V-REX Prices
The V-REX also appeals to people who understand the cost of creating a piece of rolling sculpture. One of the locations that we use for photos is the Ford Premier Automotive Group Facilities in Irvine, California, where we return another crowd gathered. Even those cars out they see something special, and they are examined from all angles while pointing and smiling. After admiring it for a while, one person asking a question pointed."It's how much?"
"40 grand and change," I replied
"That's it?" she replied incredulously.
Yes, $ 43,990 sound like much coin for me. On the other hand, there is no shortage of $ 40,000 a helicopter out there, besides the paint, look a lot like another $ 40,000 in a helicopter. Speaking of paint, the V-REX can be booked at one of 11 different colors.
The V-REX is proud and defiant thumbs its nose at the status quo, and in doing so, it challenged the two-wheeled stance to think outside the box and explore what is available. And for those who want something sportier, you will want to wait for VR-2, the next production model of the Travertson.
If you want instant celebrity status V-REX brought, surf on over to WeRentMotorcycles.com and you will find the V-REX we tested are available for $ 300 per day. Jack Reynolds, the owner of this new business based out of Newport Beach, California, has some other attention his stable, like the Spyder Can-Am, the boss Hoss 502 and, later this year, Ducati Desmosedici RR.
